Room, which is available, will be allotted.(No Choice of a particular room) |

Once the room is allotted to a resident by the office the resident will continue to stay Up to annual examination. No change of room will be allowed. |

According to M.S.R.R. Act 1999. Ragging is strictly prohibited.Penal action will be taken against the student caught while ragging. |

Any student working part-time or full time is not eligible for admission. |
| 5. |
Every student must carry his identity card issued to him by the office.The resident must show his identity card if asked. |
| 6. |
No student should remain away from the hostel after 11.30 p.m. on any day except with previous permission of the hostel authorities failing in which, he will not be allowed to enter in to the hostel. |

The hostel authorities shall take roll call at prescribed time at the discretion of the hostel Superintendent once in a week. Serious action will be taken against the resident who will found defaulting thrice. |

No visitors are allowed before 12.00noon and after 6.00 p.m. Don't ask for the permission to allow the visitors to stay over-night in the rooms. |

Staying in the hostel without permission will be treated as unauthorized stay and inmate will be penalized Rs. 500/- or will be expelled from the hostel. |

Lady visitor will not be allowed in rooms of students. All lady visitors should wait for the student concerned in the ladies visiting room on the ground floor, during 10.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. |

Only tubelight is allowed to fix in the room no bulb. Fan and light should be put off when the resident leaves the room even for a short time. |

Keeping more than one table one chair and one bookrack in the room will be viewed seriously. |

Sick students are advised to inform the hostel authorities immediately |
| 14. |
Complete silence is strictly observed after 10.00 p.m. in the hostel. |

Only one student is allowed to stay in a single seated room while two in double seated room. |
| 16. |
Smoking / consuming alcoholic drinks / addictive drugs/ chewing tobacco / spiting on the wall in the room and premises strictly prohibited and penalized as per the Mumbai police act. |

For any complaints or work, resident should meet in office and in office time only. |

Writing and affixing paper on doors, walls and windows not allowed. |

Sitting on main doorsteps is not allowed. |
| 20. |
Playing in hostel passage and calling is loudly is not allowed. |

Birthday celebration is not allowed inside the hostel |

In any case inmate should not hand over the keys to guest or any relative. |

Use of electrical appliance like TV, Radio, Tape, Deck, Shegri, Iron, etc. is strictly prohibited. if caught will be confiscated and serious action will be taken. |

Hostel authorities are not responsible for any theft from the rooms of the residents. |

Residents have to come in office for any work and any time in full dress only. |

Every student will be responsible for the safety of the electrical installation, furniture and their belongings in their rooms & bathroom. The cost of damage if any will be recovered from the student concerned. |

While leaving the room finally clear the dues of mess, canteen, and washerman. The signature of the hamal must be obtained on leaving from as a proof of that the electric installation and furniture are in good condition.No store facilities will be provided to any resident. |

Those residents leaving or going out of the hostel must register their names in register at the counter. Any resident will not get extension for their stay in the vacation as per Govt. GR.NO.GCH/1092/(192)/HE/5. Rooms must vacate within two days after their annual examinations. (i.e. last paper of concerned exam.) |

Entry in the kitchen of 'A'Mess, 'C' Mess and on Terrace of the hostel is strictly prohibited. |

The inmate possessing the bike must obtain the pass for the parking facility and pay the required charges to the office. |
| 31. |
These rules and such other rules as may be framed in the best interest of the hostel discipline from time to time will be binding on all the students. |

Any resident who is found guilty of misconduct or continued breach of rules will be expelled from the hostel immediately. |
